Coconut cream pie is one of my husbands absolute favorites, and I’ve rested out so recipes that just didn’t hit the spot. On my most recent grocery run, I threw a few items in my cart for a last minute idea with no recipe to follow and no idea how it would turn out. I put the recipe to the test today and not only was it a huge success but he went back for multiple slices of pie!
So if you’re a fan of cheap, easy recipes, this one is for you.
Ingredients
2 3.4oz boxes of Jell-O Coconut Cream Pudding mix
3 cups of milk
1 graham cracker pie crust, 9 inches
1 8oz tub of cool whip or whipped cream
How to Make It
In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and the milk until well blended and thick
Pour the pudding and milk mixture into the pie crust
Set in fridge to cool, 2-4 hours
Once cool, remove pie from fridge and top with cool whip. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
