Turn a fabric placemat from Hobby Lobby into a pillow! You know that I love DIY and cute, inexpensive decor and this is the perfect combination.
I saw this on a video online, and if you know who to credit please let me know but oh my gosh it's a game changer.
You'll need:
1 double sided fabric placemat (I got one on sale at Hobby Lobby- make sure the fabric is sewn on both sides!)
Pillow stuffing (I got this at Hobby Lobby, too!)
Sewing Needle
Thread
Let's make it:
Grab your placemat and lay it out on a flat surface.
Locate the spot on the placemat where you're going to stuff it. I cut mine on the side, near the corner. Using scissors or a seam ripper, cut the stitching in that spot.
Grab your pillow stuffing and start stuffing the placemat using the whole you just opened.
Once it's as firm as you'd like it to be, use your needle and thread to sew the whole closed.
Enjoy your new creation!
