One Room Challenge: Room Reveal

We made it! We transformed this stair well into a space that I'm proud of, all for the One Room Challenge.

Here's what it look like before:

And here's what it looks like now!

We worked hard in this space, here's what we did to transform this space:

• Primed the walls

• Painted the walls

• Patched blemishes in the wall with joint compound

• Sanded blemishes

• Filled in nail holes with wood filler

• Wood conditioned the rail and the stair tops

• Skim coated the OSB stair risers (twice)

• Sanded compound

• Stained the stair tops and hand rail

• Put polyurethane on the hand rail and stair tops

• Covered the stair risers
