One Room Challenge: Week 6

We are so close to the end and there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

I put the work in this week to make up for the last few weeks. Here's what I did this week:

• Sanded the risers

• Sanded the stair tops

• Removed the hand rail

• Sanded the hand rail

• Conditioned the stair tops

• Stained all of the stair tops twice

• Painted the walls (partially- I couldn't reach the tops)

Pro tip: if you're staining stair tops, I'd recommend doing every other stair completely (meaning conditioning and both coats of stain), letting it dry overnight and then doing the remaining stairs the next day. These worked out really well for me and let the stain dry completely untouched.
