It's a new year, but some things don't change- this recipe being one of them. This recipe has had me in a chokehold for the past month and a half so I wanted to share it with you!
This is a single serving recipe, but it can be doubled or increased as necessary for additional servings.
Let's make it!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup milk (I use fat free milk but plant-based milks are great as well)
1 tablespoon nut butter (I use peanut butter but any nut butters are great)
2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon brown sugar or maple syrup
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
Chocolate chips (optional)
other toppings of your choice could include walnuts, chia seeds, or berries.
Make it:
Preheat oven to 350
Spray a small ramekin or small oven-safe serving bowl with non-stick spray.
In a small bowl, mix all ingredients together.
Pour ingredients into greased oven-safe dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges become brown.
Enjoy!
Double or triple the recipe for more servings!
