Since we are on a Stay at Home order here in Ohio, I've been trying to get more creative with our breakfasts because I'm quickly growing tired of eating eggs and pancakes constantly. This morning I decided to test out a scone recipe I found over the weekend, and oh. my. gosh. It's amazing! They are decadent and perfect with coffee without being too sweet. I knew as soon as I tasted it that this was a recipe that is meant to be shared and enjoyed.

This recipe is from Tracy and Baking Mischief!
For the scones:
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3/4 cup heavy cream (I used Silk dairy free)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Maple Glaze:
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 to 3 tablespoons milk (I used 2)
1/2 teaspoon maple extract
A dash of salt
Head over to Baking Mischief for the directions!
