About a month ago, I started looking for outdoor wreaths to put on all of the windows for the holidays and I was shocked to see how pricey some of them were. Since I would be needing 8-9 wreaths for the front of the house, and since we are on a budget after building this year, I started to look at less expensive wreaths.
That led me to purchasing these, for $2.88 at Walmart.
These wreaths needed fluffed when I picked them up and I was thinking through other ways to upgrade the look.
Ultimately, I decided on adding large red bows to each wreath and I love the way they turned out!
Other things you can do to upgrade the look of an inexpensive wreath:
Flock it with some snow spray
Mix in your own greens (some pieces of pine or cedar spray would look really good!)
Hot glue some ornaments for a nice touch
Get some faux berries to intertwine with the greens!
You do not need a big budget for things to look nice! Sometimes the more inexpensive things end up being even better after a DIY touch. Happy DIY-ing!
